On December 20, 2022, The first Central Asian Media Forum began its work in Astana, with the support by the Turkic Academy.
The forum has been organized by the Ministry of Information and Social Development of the Republic of Kazakhstan. More than 100 invited speakers are taking part in the event. The world-famous Pulitzer Prize winners, world-class politicians, international and local journalists, influencers, heads of international organizations and influential media experts are among the guests of honor. Becoming a unique platform for cooperation, the forum will contribute to the creation of a single media space for the countries of Central Asia. Within two days, recognized experts will discuss topical issues of media development, and share their observations and best practices in this area. Tomorrow, within the framework of the forum, a panel session will be held on the topic "International organizations - a bridge of cooperation", moderated by Sh. Mustafayev, President of the Turkic Academy. The speakers at the session will be the First Secretary General of the Organization of Turkic States Halil Akıncı, Secretary General of the Organization of Turkic States Kubanychbek Omuraliev, Secretary General of TURKSOY Sultan Raev, President of the International Foundation for Turkic Culture and Heritage Günay Efendiyeva, Secretary General of CICA Kairat Sarybay.
