Today, on November 14, a solemn wreath-laying ceremony took place in Nukus at the monument to the renowned Karakalpak poet Ajiniyaz Kosibai uly. This event, dedicated to the poet’s 200th anniversary, brought together representatives of the scientific and cultural communities of Uzbekistan, along with guests from Turkic countries.
Among the participants were President of the Turkic Academy Shahin Mustafayev, Deputy Chairman of the Jokargy Kenes of the Republic of Karakalpakstan Rustam Saparbaev, as well as officials from the leadership of Karakalpakstan, scholars, writers and cultural figures.
