The President of the Turkic Academy, Prof. Dr. Shahin Mustafayev took part in the anniversary Issyk-Kul International Forum held in Kyrgyzstan under the theme “The World at the Turning Point of Civilizations: Together Towards the Future.”
The Forum is recognized as one of the key international platforms for dialogue on global challenges, sustainable development, intercultural interaction, and humanitarian cooperation. This year’s event brought together representatives of government institutions, international organizations, academia, and the cultural sphere from various countries.
The opening of the Forum was attended by the President of the Kyrgyz Republic, Sadyr Japarov.
Within the framework of the Forum, President of the Turkic Academy Shahin Mustafayev delivered a speech in which he emphasized the importance of scientific and cultural cooperation in the Turkic world and presented the key areas of the Academy’s activities.
“In the process of integration of the Turkic states, an important condition is the formation of a Turkic identity based on a common historical consciousness, shared destiny, and the values of a common civilization. The Turkic Academy, by utilizing the opportunities of scientific and educational diplomacy, aims to further strengthen integration in the field of science,” said the President of the Academy.
The Forum continues its work on the shores of Lake Issyk-Kul and will conclude on 21 June.
