Annotation: The project "Turkic Stone Sculptures in Eurasia" aims to catalog and analyze stone sculptures from the Turkic era found across regions including Mongolia, Tuva, Altai, Khakassia, East Turkestan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Eastern Europe and the North Caucasus. Implemented by the Turkic Academy, this initiative involves collaboration with renowned turkologists, archaeologists and historians. The project focuses on systematizing typological classifications of the sculptures, identifying their geographical, ethnic and iconographic characteristics. Specialized studies encompass typological analysis, creation of graphic schematics, mapping of geographical locations, photographic documentation and comparative analysis. Additionally, the project examines stylistic representations of the statues, attire attributes and their semantics. The research aims to develop a comprehensive reference on the traditional sculptural art of medieval Turks, elucidating the ethnocultural significance of these stone carvings. Outcomes include the determination of typological, geographical, chronological and ethnic features of the sculptures, as well as clarification of their cultural affiliations and historical continuity.
