Annotation: This encyclopedic work on Turkic mythology encompasses mythological texts from 21 Turkic peoples, including Azerbaijani, Altai, Balkan Turkic, Bashkir, Dolgan, Kazakh, Karakalpak, Kumyk, Kyrgyz, Nogai, Uzbek, Tatar, Tofalar, Tuvan, Turkmen, Uighur, Khakas, Chuvash, Shor and Yakut. The project, involving 20 scholars and scheduled for completion between 2023 and 2025, will be published in Kazakh, Turkish and Russian. Serving as an educational resource for students and a foundational database for future research, this work aims to strengthen spiritual cooperation among Turkic peoples by deepening the understanding of their state symbols, ancient customs and traditions.
