Today, September 23, in Ankara, President of the Turkic Academy, Prof. Dr. Shahin Mustafayev, met with Reşad Aslanov, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Azerbaijan to the Republic of Türkiye.
During the meeting, Shahin Mustafayev congratulated Reşad Aslanov on his appointment to the diplomatic post and wished him success in his new position. He then briefed him on the activities of the Turkic Academy and its cooperation with Azerbaijan’s academic community. President of the Academy highlighted the contribution of Azerbaijani scholars to research on the history, languages, and cultural heritage of the Turkic peoples, as well as the participation of Azerbaijani experts in the Academy’s scientific projects and events.
Reşad Aslanov expressed his interest in further strengthening cooperation with the Turkic Academy and developing joint scientific initiatives that bring together researchers from Azerbaijan and other Turkic countries.
