Today, September 22, in Ankara, President of the Turkic Academy, Prof. Dr. Shahin Mustafayev met with Professor Haluk Selvi, President of the Turkish Historical Society.
During the visit, President of the Academy congratulated Professor Selvi on his appointment as President of the Turkish Historical Society and wished him every success in his new position.
Prof. Dr. Mustafayev briefed Professor Selvi on the Turkic Academy’s activities, its main areas of research, and its longstanding cooperation with the Turkish historical community, through which a number of joint projects and academic initiatives have been implemented. The two sides also discussed prospects for further cooperation.
Professor Selvi thanked Şahin Mustafayev for his visit and highlighted the contribution of the Turkic Academy to the study of the history of the Turkic peoples. He also expressed his readiness to further develop cooperation between the two organizations and support the implementation of joint academic projects.
