Today, on 8 June, the 9th Meeting of the Ministers of Education of the Organization of Turkic States (OTS) was held in Turkistan, bringing together the heads of relevant institutions of the member states to discuss further cooperation in the fields of education, science, and academic mobility.
The meeting was attended by the Secretary General of the Organization of Turkic States Kubanychbek Omuraliev, President of the Turkic Academy, Prof. Dr. Shahin Mustafayev, as well as ministers of education and heads of relevant institutions of the OTS member states.
The participants reaffirmed their commitment to strengthening cooperation in the field of education, emphasizing its importance for the development of a common educational space across the Turkic world. The parties also expressed support for further expanding academic mobility and enhancing cooperation among educational and scientific institutions of the OTS member states.
It was announced that the 10th Meeting of the Ministers of Education of the Organization of Turkic States will be held in the Kyrgyz Republic in 2027.
