The President of the Turkic Academy met with the Deputy Minister of Culture, Information, Sports and Youth Policy of the Kyrgyz Republic

During the meeting, the sides discussed possibilities of bilateral cooperation in the field of culture. Sh. Mustafayev informed A. Askarova about the upcoming international exhibition on the history of the Silk Road to be organized with the Heydar Aliyev Foundation, and invited the Kyrgyz Republic to take part in the exhibition. In turn, A. Askarova thanked for the invitation and added that, along with other Turkic states, Kyrgyzstan can fully demonstrate its rich cultural heritage, citing as an example three sites that are included in the UNESCO World Heritage List. In addition, the Kyrgyz side invited the Turkic Academy to consider the possibility of holding joint events dedicated to the 95th anniversary of Chingiz Aitmatov. The President of the Academy expressed interest in working together on this proposal.
