THE TURKIC ACADEMY PUBLISHED A BOOK ON AZERBAIJAN’S PATRIOTIC WAR IN THE KAZAKH LANGUAGE

In honor of Azerbaijan’s Victory Day, celebrated on November 8, the Turkic Academy has released a Kazakh-language edition of the book “The History of Patriotic War. The Personality Factor (September 27 – November 10, 2020)”.

The publication presents a detailed documentary chronicle of the 44-day Second Karabakh War, providing a comprehensive account of the Azerbaijani people’s just struggle.

The book also examines the causes of defeat in the First Karabakh War, the efforts to resolve the Armenia–Azerbaijan conflict following the rise to power of national leader Heydar Aliyev, the process of forming a national army, and the key directions of the victorious strategy of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan and Commander-in-Chief Ilham Aliyev. Special attention is given to the diplomatic aspects of the Second Karabakh War, the geopolitical outcomes of Azerbaijan’s historic victory, and Ilham Aliyev’s post-war policy for the socio-economic revival of Karabakh.

In his foreword, President of the Turkic Academy, Prof.Dr. Shahin Mustafayev, emphasized that the Karabakh victory represents not only the triumph of the Azerbaijani people but also a shared joy and pride for the entire Turkic world.

“On behalf of the Turkic Academy, I am pleased to present this work, a credible source on the great victory of the Azerbaijani people, to Kazakh readers. I am confident that the book will serve as an important contribution to understanding the common destiny, shared mission, and future cooperation of the Turkic nations,” noted Mustafayev.

The full version of the book is available on the official website of the Turkic Academy.
