The summer school for young Turkologists has ended

The closing ceremony, held at the Kyrgyz-Turkish Manas University, was attended by professors and teachers of famous universities of the Turkic world, as well as 30 young Turkologists from Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Turkey, Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan, Hungary, Mongolia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Northern Macedonia, Northern Cyprus, Bashkortostan (RF) and Tatarstan (RF). It is worth noting that the “Summer School of Young Turkologists” was organized for the first time by the Turkic Academy, and aimed to support young scholars engaged in the researches in the fields of Turkic studies, Turkic history, Turkic literature, anthropology, cultural studies and archaeology. An application for participation in the program was submitted by 226 young scholars working in the field of Turkic studies, 30 candidates were approved. The Summer School provided young scholars the opportunity to get to know each other, present their projects and research, gain new knowledge, and create networks for professional purposes. Young scholars got the opportunity to deepen their theoretical and practical knowledge of the history, archaeology, language and literature of the Turkic world. At the end of the event, the participants received certificates and gifts from the organizers.
