Today, the Embassy of the Republic of Azerbaijan in Kazakhstan hosted a commemorative event marking the 33rd anniversary of the Khojaly tragedy. The ceremony was attended by representatives of the the Turkic Academy, diplomatic corps, public organizations, scholars and academics.
During the event, Ambassador of Azerbaijan to Kazakhstan, His Excellency Agalar Atamoglanov, delivered a speech emphasizing the importance of preserving historical memory about the tragic events of 1992. As part of the program, a short documentary film dedicated to the Khojaly tragedy was shown. Participants honored the memory of the victims with a moment of silence.
