The President of the Academy met with the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan

During the meeting, Shahin Mustafayev informed his counterpart about the priorities and scientific projects of the Academy. Mustafayev noted that Uzbekistan became an observer of the Academy in 2022, stressing that for further deepening of cooperation between the parties, it is important for Uzbekistan to become a full member of the Academy. In his turn, Bahromjon Aloev noted that as the Chairman of the Organization of Turkic States (OTS), Uzbekistan is planning to organize many events. In this regard the Minister thanked the Turkic Academy, for its support in organizing the international conference on Jadidism, initiated by the OTS Secretariat. The Minister underlined that he will provide full support on issues on the agenda related to Uzbekistan, and expressed readiness to establish close relations with the Turkic Academy. The parties agreed to hold a joint event dedicated to the 1050th anniversary of the Great Thinker of the Turkic and Islamic world Abu Rayhan al-Biruni.
