New Proposals on the Text of the Textbook “Common Turkic History” were Discussed

These proposals, received from the Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Uzbekistan, concerned the introduction of changes and additions to the text of the textbook. During the online meeting, historians and specialists in the field of education of the Turkic countries discussed the proposals prepared by the Uzbek side on the textbook “Common Turkic History”, developed by the Turkic Academy on behalf of the Heads of State of the Organization of Turkic States. At the end of the event, the experts came to a common decision on the proposed changes. The new edition of the textbook will be submitted for approval at the next meeting of the Scientific Council of the Turkic Academy. It is worth noting that on June 24, 2022, at the V meeting of the Scientific Council of the Turkic Academy in Astana, the texts of textbooks and the program of the disciplines “Common Turkic History”, “Common Turkic Literature” and “Geography of the Turkic World” were approved.
