At the opening ceremony of the event, President of the Republic of Türkiye Recep Tayyip Erdogan addressed wıth a video message to the participants of the Summit, which was held on the theme “Global fight against hybrid threats: stability, security, solidarity.”
Also the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Türkiye Hakan Fidan, the Head of the Communications Department of the Administration of the President of the Republic of Türkiye Fahrettin Altun, the head of the UN Global Communications Department Melissa Fleming made opening speeches.
The event is attended by approximately 3,000 participants, including 60 experts as speakers from the public and private sector, media, academia, think tanks, international and non-governmental organizations from 30 countries. The President of the Turkic Academy also takes part in the work of the Summit.
The event's agenda is dedicated to the most important issues: from combating hybrid threats to digital public communications, from new technologies to artificial intelligence, from humanitarian crises to increasing international resilience. The two-day Summit will end on November 25, 2023.
