Astana hosted a meeting between President of the Turkic Academy Shahin Mustafayev and Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan, H.E. Ambassador Alibek Bakayev, where discussions centered on the role of scientific collaboration in strengthening ties among Turkic nations.
During the meeting, Mustafayev presented a report on the Academy’s achievements in 2024, highlighting the contributions of Kazakh scholars to research projects and the progress of joint scientific initiatives. He also outlined key plans for the year ahead. In response, Bakayev emphasized the significance of the work accomplished and expressed his support for the Academy’s scientific initiatives.
Both sides emphasized the importance of collective efforts in advancing research and educational initiatives that promote the study of Turkic history, language and culture.
