On February 16, 2026, a briefing dedicated to the draft of the new Constitution of the Republic of Kazakhstan was held at the Constitutional Court of the Republic of Kazakhstan. The event was attended by representatives of the diplomatic corps accredited in Kazakhstan.
During the briefing, detailed information was presented on the process of preparing the draft Constitution, as well as on the key amendments introduced to the document.
The reforms being implemented in the Republic of Kazakhstan carry significance in a broader regional context, including across the Turkic world. In this regard, the staff of the Turkic Academy, as one of the Turkic cooperation institutions and an international organization accredited in Kazakhstan, also reviewed the text of the new Constitution. The Academy’s staff carefully examined the document and noted its relevance and importance.
