Today in Baku, the International Symposium on “Teaching Turkic Languages, Literature and History in the Context of Modern Requirements” continued its work within the framework of the Turkic World Week, dedicated to the 100th anniversary of the First Turkological Congress.
The symposium is jointly organized by the International Turkic Academy and Baku State University and brings together leading Turkologists, scholars, and experts from Turkic states and other countries to discuss pressing issues related to the study of the shared historical, linguistic, and cultural heritage of the Turkic world.
One of the key events of the second day of the symposium was the presentation of new scholarly publications prepared by the International Turkic Academy. Participants were introduced to the “Album of the 1926 Baku Turkological Congress,” published in six Turkic languages and containing information on 131 delegates of the historic congress, as well as the “Archival Documents of the 1926 Baku Turkological Congress,” published in Turkish and Russian and based on unique archival materials revealing the historical context and significance of the Congress.
