On November 3, 2023, the 10th Session of the Council of Foreign Ministers of the Organization of Turkic States (OTS) was held in Astana under the chairmanship of Kazakhstan.
Ministers of Foreign Affairs of member and observer countries of the OTS, as well as heads of international organizations took part in the event.
The participants exchanged opinions on issues of regional and international cooperation within the OTS and specified proposals that will be considered at the Summit.
In his speech, the President of the Turkic Academy Shаhin Mustafayev noted that Turkic cooperation has demonstrated good results in many areas. He emphasized that the dialogue between the Turkic Cooperation Organizations has led to an active process of coordination and increased synergy, promoting closer ties between our countries. “In 2023, cooperation under the auspices of the Turkic Academy entered a new and more dynamic stage. We have launched 20 projects in the field of history, languages, culture and society of the Turkic peoples. We believe that these projects will contribute to a better understanding of common history and increase awareness of the common Turkic heritage and cultural identity,” said Shаhin Mustafayev.
The 10th anniversary summit of the Heads of State of the OTS will begin its work today in Astana, the capital of Kazakhstan.
