Today, President of the Turkic Academy Shahin Mustafayev, while in Budapest for the Hunno-Turan Kurultai, was invited by Kazakhstan's ambassador to Hungary Abzal Saparbekuly, to lay flowers at the monument of the great Kazakh poet Abai Kunanbayev.
The ceremony, which also included the participation of Secretary General of the Organization of Turkic States Kubanychbek Omuraliev, Secretary General of TURKSOY Sultan Raev, Secretary General of TURKPA Mehmet Sureya Er and representatives from brotherly states, highlighted the importance of cultural connections among Turkic peoples.
During his visit, Mustafayev extended his heartfelt congratulations to Saparbekuly on his appointment as ambassador and presented him with a book published by the Turkic Academy, which is a translation of the works of Sándor Petőfi into Kazakh.
President of the Academy highlighted the significance of this event, emphasizing the value of cultural connections and mutual respect among Turkic countries.
