President of Kazakhstan Expressed His Gratitude to the Staff of the Turkic Academy

President of the Republic of Kazakhstan Kassym-Zhomart Tokayev sent a special letter to the President of the Turkic Academy Shahin Mustafayev.

The President’s letter which expresses his gratitude to the staff of the Academy was conveyed by Sayasat Nurbek, Minister of Science and Higher Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

In the letter, it is noted that “The Turkic Academy carries out various scientific projects and makes a significant contribution to the development of cooperation among sister countries. Thanks to your initiatives, the works of the outstanding persons of the Turkic World are being widespread.

In this context, I would like to express my sincere gratitude to you and the staff of the Turkic Academy for publishing a special book in Turkish on the occasion of the 100th anniversary of the famous writer Kemel Tokayev. I wish you all well-being, happiness and success. I hope that the ties between brotherly peoples will become even stronger!”

It is worth to mention that last year, the Turkic Academy published the book “Kemel Tokayev: The Life Story of a Writer” as part of the 100th anniversary celebrations of the famous writer Kemel Tokayev, the founder of the Kazakh detective genre.

The first part of the compilation book published in Turkish includes the memoirs of Kazakhstan President Kassym-Zhomart Tokayev titled “My Thoughts about My Father”, which has been translated into many world languages, and the second part includes articles about Kemel Tokayev and his writings.
