On March 8, 2023, the President of the Turkic Academy, Shahin Mustafayev, met with Muminkhon Saidov, the Director of the Yahyo Gulomov Samarkand Institute of Archaeology of the Agency of Cultural Heritage of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
At the meeting, the parties discussed the opportunities for cooperation and realization of joint projects in the field of archaeological researches. Sh. Mustafayev called on the specialists of the Institute to jointly implement projects related to the Turkic World within the framework of scientific cooperation. M. Saidov presented the work of the Institute of Archaeology in recent years and supported the proposals of the President of the Academy. At the end of the meeting, the parties signed a memorandum of cooperation in order to establish close partnership between scientific organizations.
