Today, on July 1st, President of the Turkic Academy Shahin Mustafayev met with President of the National Academy of Sciences of Tajikistan Kobiljon Khushvakhtzoda in Dushanbe. During the discussions, the prospects for scientific cooperation were explored and proposals for several joint projects were put forward.
President of the Turkic Academy Shahin Mustafayev provided Kobiljon Khushvakhtzoda with an in-depth overview of the Academy's activities, emphasizing the existing connections with Tajik scientists. As an example, he mentioned the publication of Al-Farabi's treatise "A Book About Words Used in Logic'' in 2020, which was translated from Arabic to Russian by the Tajik scholar Saidrahman Suleimenov.
Among the proposed projects, the participation of Tajik scientists in research on regional water security, the preparation of the annual report on economic cooperation among regional countries and other initiatives was discussed.
At the conclusion of the meeting, both parties agreed to sign memorandums that will formalize their agreements and promote further development of scientific cooperation.
This meeting underscored the importance of strengthening scientific ties between the Turkic Academy and the National Academy of Sciences of Tajikistan, contributing not only to the development of the scientific potential of both institutions but also to their integration into the global scientific community.
