On September 5, 2022, the International Turkic Academy hosted a dear guest from fraternal Bashkortostan, a leading researcher at the Department of Oriental Manuscripts of the Institute of History, Language and Literature of the Ufa Federal Research Center of the Russian Academy of Sciences Akhat Salikhov.
The Bashkir guest was received by acting. President of the International Turkic Academy Fuzuli Majidli. A. Salikhov was acquainted with the Turkic Museum and the book fund of the Turkic Library. A meaningful conversation between F.Majidli and A.Salikhov took place on the state of affairs in modern Turkic science, as well as on the prospects for cooperation between the Turkic Academy and the scientific community of Bashkortostan. At the end of A. Salikhov's visit to the Turkic Academy, F.Majidli presented him the books published by the Organization. For his part, A. Salikhov donated to his colleagues a number of publications of Bashkortostan`s Academy of Sciences.
