October 14, 2022,the delegation of the International Turkic Academy, headed by the Acting President Fuzuli Majidli, visited Nazarbayev University. The delegation got acquainted with the work of the University and met with the Vice-President for Student Affairs and International Cooperation of Nazarbayev University Kadisha Dairova.
Also the Director of Global Relations of Nazarbayev University Aliya Kaimoldinova, the Head of the Department of Kazakh Language and Turkic Studies, Professor Yulai Shamiloglu and Associate Professor Funda Gyuven, employees of the Science and Expertise division of the Turkic Academy Timur Kozyrev, Nurdin Useev, Dinmukhammed Ametbek participated in the work of meeting. The parties discussed issues of cooperation in the field of science and education. Particularly, they exchanged of views on the opportunities of the exchange of experience for young scientists (applicants) in the Turkic states in the sphere of Turkic studies. The Acting President Fuzuli Majidli informed that the Turkic Academy plans further to support scientific applicants and doctoral students. In turn, the Vice-President K.Dairova told how this kind of cooperation is implemented in the practice of world-level universities, and expressed support for the initiative of the Academy. At the end of the meeting, the parties agreed to create a joint Working group for the practical implementation of this initiative.
