On March 6-7, 2023, the international conference "Educational activities of Jadidists: ideas, goals, tasks and their contribution to the development of Turkestan" was held in Tashkent.
The event was organized jointly by the Secretariat of the Organization of Turkic States, the Turkic Academy, TURKSOY, TurkPA, the International Turkic Culture and Heritage Foundation, the State Museum of Memory of the Victims of Repressions under the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan, the Republican Center for Spirituality and Enlightenment, as well as other organizations. At the beginning of the conference, Advisor to the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Khayriddin Sultanov read a congratulatory letter from Shavkat Mirziyoyev to the participants. In his letter, the President of Uzbekistan expressed gratitude to the Heads and representatives of the organizations of Turkic cooperation. The opening ceremony of the conference was attended by the President of the Turkic Academy Shahin Mustafayev, Deputy Secretary General of the Organization of Turkic States Mirvohid Azimov, Deputy Secretary General of TURKSOY Bilal Çakıcı and Director of the project of the Turkic Culture and Heritage Foundation Mirbek Karabayev. The conference was attended by more than 120 leading experts and academicians from the Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Turkey, Uzbekistan, USA, Germany, Russia and other countries.
