On January 16, 2023, the President of the Turkic Academy Shahin Mustafayev, within the framework of his visit to the Republic of Turkey which is being made in order to participate in the Coordination Meeting organized by the Secretariat of the Organization of Turkic States, met with the Secretary General of the International Organization of Turkic Culture (TURKSOY) Sultan Raev.
During the bilateral meeting, the parties discussed important projects for 2023 and exchanged views on joint activities. The Head of the Academy, Sh. Mustafayev, shared his plans for the future and informed about the future directions of the organization's activities. In turn, Secretary General S. Raev honored Sh. Mustafayev, who visited the building of TURKSOY, and expressed his support for the joint activities in the field of science and education. At the end of the meeting, Sh. Mustafayev thanked the Head of the organization for the warm welcome and presented the book “Zholdau” ("Message") by Mustafa Kemal Ataturk, translated by the Academy into Kazakh in honor of the 100th anniversary of the Republic of Turkey.
