On February 1, 2023, the President of the Turkic Academy Shahin Mustafayev met with the Acting Director of the UNESCO Cluster Bureau Magnus Magnusson.
Issues of close cooperation between the Turkic Academy and UNESCO were discussed at the meeting. Sh. Mustafayev gave information about the joint work of the Turkic Academy with UNESCO and noted that joint humanitarian activities will continue in the future. In addition, they exchanged views on the Great Silk Road project implemented within the framework of UNESCO. In turn, M. Magnusson expressed gratitude to the Head of the Academy, who visited the UNESCO representation, noting the importance of relations between organizations and expressing readiness to strengthen cooperation in the field of science. At the end of the meeting, the parties agreed to increase cooperation and implement joint projects.
