On February 27, the President of the Turkic Academy Shahin Mustafayev met with the First Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan Kanat Tumysh.
During the meeting, the Head of the Academy acquainted the Kazakh diplomat with the progress of the work carried out this year, and discussed with him the Academy's plans for the future. An agreement was reached to hold joint events with the support of the Foreign Ministry, including an international conference dedicated to the 930th anniversary of Khoja Akhmet Yassawi, as well as other events. The sides also exchanged their views on the directions of research projects, as well as on the list of anniversaries of the Turkic world, which will be approved at the VI meeting of the Scientific Council of the Turkic Academy, with the participation of the Ministers of Education and Science of the Academy member countries in Bishkek. In turn, K. Tumysh highly appreciated the work of the Turkic Academy and expressed support for the initiatives of the international organization. The Head of the Academy thanked the First Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs for his comprehensive support.
