On 18 January 2024, the President of the Turkic Academy Shahin Mustafayev met in Istanbul with the Secretary General of the Organization of Turkic States Kubanychbek Omuraliev.
During the meeting, held in the building of the OTS Secretariat, issues on the agenda were discussed, including the intensification of cooperation in the field of science and education, as well as the implementation of joint projects.
Along with this, the Heads of the two organizations praised the annual report on digital trade and investment in brotherly countries (“Turkic Economy: Digital Trade and Investment – 2023”), jointly published by the Turkic Academy and the Turkic Network of Official Economic Policy Research Centers (ERCNET).
The parties also exchanged their views on issues that will be brought up at the meeting of the Coordination Council of the Turkic cooperation organizations.
