As part of his participation in the Third Subregional Conference on the Silk Roads, held in Ashgabat from December 5 to 9, 2024, President of the Turkic Academy Shahin Mustafayev met with the Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of the Republic of Azerbaijan to Turkmenistan, His Excellency Gismat Gözəlov.
During their meeting, the parties discussed the current activities of the Turkic Academy, including initiatives aimed at studying the cultural heritage and fostering scientific cooperation among the Turkic countries. Shahin Mustafayev highlighted the key aspects of the Academy’s work, emphasizing projects focused on researching and promoting the shared historical and cultural heritage of Turkic peoples.
Particular attention was given to Azerbaijan's role in advancing the Turkic Academy's initiatives and its cooperation within UNESCO projects.
Ambassador Gözəlov expressed his support for the Academy’s activities and reaffirmed his commitment to strengthening collaboration between Azerbaijan's scientific and cultural institutions and the Turkic Academy.
