President of the Turkic Academy Met with Member of the Hungarian Parliament Péter Hoppál

Today, in the city of Aktau (Kazakhstan), President of the Turkic Academy Shahin Mustafayev held a meeting with Government Commissioner and Member of the Hungarian Parliament Péter Hoppál.

During the conversation, the parties discussed prospects for deepening scientific and academic cooperation between Hungary and the Turkic world.

The head of the Academy emphasized the need to strengthen ties between Hungarian universities and research institutions of the Turkic countries, and also expressed interest in developing cooperation in the field of archaeology, highlighting the participation of Hungarian researchers in the recent meeting of the Association of Archaeologists of the Turkic World, organized by the Academy.

Péter Hoppál highly praised the scientific projects and research initiatives of the Turkic Academy, especially noting the report on water security presented at the Regional Water Forum in Brussels, which received positive feedback from forum participants.

At the end of the meeting, both sides expressed their readiness to further strengthen scientific and cultural ties and to expand the framework of cooperation between Hungary and the Turkic Academy.
