The President of the Turkic Academy Shahin Mustafayev, who arrived in Tashkent on an official visit to participate in the international conference "Educational Activities of the Jadids: Ideas, Goals, Tasks and Contribution to the development of Turkistan", met with the Minister of Higher Education, Science and Innovation of the Republic of Uzbekistan Ibrohim Abdurahmonov on March 6, 2023.
During the meeting, Mustafayev informed the minister about the activities of the Academy and ongoing scientific projects. He also noted that Uzbek scholars are also taking part in the projects, and added that he want to see the Uzbek side not only as an observer, but also as a full member of the Academy. In his turn, Minister Abdurahmanov, declaring full support for the issues on the agenda, noted that Uzbekistan is ready to establish close relations with the Turkic Academy. At the end of the meeting, the President of the Academy gifted the Minister publications of the organization on Uzbek literature.
