Following the passing of the renowned scholar, Doctor of Philological Sciences, Professor Mekenmtas Myrzakhmetov, who would have turned 95 this year, the Turkic Academy extends its condolences to his family and the entire Kazakh nation.
Professor Myrzakhmetov's work laid the foundation for in-depth studies in areas such as Abay studies, as well as the research into the works and legacy of Ahmed Yasawi, Mukhtar Auezov and Bauyrjan Momyshuly.
The scholar's rich legacy, which has deeply influenced the spiritual life of the Kazakh people, will continue to inspire future generations of scholars and cultural figures.
