Today, September 9th, the Third Meeting of the Commission on the Common Alphabet of the Turkic World began in Baku, organized by the Turkic Academy in collaboration with the Turkish Linguistic Society under the Atatürk Supreme Council for Culture, Language and History, with the support of the Organization of Turkic States (OTS).
The event is being attended by Azerbaijan's Minister of Education Emin Amrullayev, President of the Turkic Academy Shahin Mustafayev, Chairman of the Turkish Linguistic Society Osman Mert and other representatives of Turkic states.
The meeting aims to review the progress made in developing a common alphabet for the Turkic world and to outline the next steps for its promotion and implementation.
