On December 15, 2022, in Paris, the participants of the forum "Turkic Civilization and Global Culture: the Inscription of Elterish Kutluk-Kagan", which was held at the UNESCO headquarters, honored the memory of prominent figures of the Turkic World.
In particular, the forum participants honored the memory of the great sons of the Azerbaijani people, statesmen and public figures Alimardan-bek Topchibashev and Jeyhun Hajibeyli, who found eternal rest in the cemetery of Saint-Loup. In addition, the participants laid flowers at the monument to the prominent political figure Mustafa Shokay, located in the suburb of Paris, Nogent-sur-Marne. The ceremony was attended by President of the Turkic Academy Shahin Mustafayev, Secretary General of the Parliamentary Assembly of Turkic States (TURKPA) Mehmet Sureyya Er, Secretary General of the International Organization of Turkic Culture (TURKSOY) Sultan Raev, Secretary General of the Conference on Interaction and Confidence Building Measures in Asia (CICA) Kairat Sarybay , Executive Director of the OTS office in Hungary Janos Hovari, Chairman of the Turkish National Commission for UNESCO Ocal Oguz, representatives of the diplomatic missions of the Turkic states, as well as prominent scientists of the brotherly countries. To recall, оn December 15, at the UNESCO Headquarters in Paris, the Turkic Academy, together with the UNESCO National Commissions of Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan and Turkey, held a forum dedicated to the presentation of the complex and a written monument in honor of Elterish Qutlug-Qaghan, discovered as a result of the Nomgon expedition joint with the Academy of Sciences of Mongolia. The event was timed to the Day of the Turkic Language.
