In his 92nd year, People's Writer of the Republic of Kazakhstan, State Prize laureate, Professor of the Kazakh National University of Arts and renowned playwright Akim Tarazi has passed away.

Akim Tarazi dedicated his life to the development of national literature and culture, making a significant contribution to the growth of Kazakh drama and cinematography. Through his creative work and public activities, he also played an important role in strengthening literary ties among the Turkic peoples of Central Asia.
