Declaration of the Fourth Meeting of the Commission on the Common Turkic Alphabet

On 15 June 2026, the Commission on the Common Turkic Alphabet convened in Astana to discuss the implementation of the Common Turkic Alphabet and to review the Recommended Guidelines for its use.

Following the meeting, the Commission adopted the attached Declaration, reaffirming its support for the Common Turkic Alphabet and approving a set of recommendations intended to support its consistent and coordinated application. The Declaration also includes recommended Kazakh and Kyrgyz alphabets developed on the basis of the Common Turkic Alphabet and reflects the shared commitment of the participants to advancing cooperation in this field.
