Annotation: The "Great Personalities of the Turkic World" project, initiated by the Turkic Academy, aims to compile a comprehensive work highlighting influential individuals who have significantly contributed to human history and the unity of the Turkic world. This initiative aligns with the directives from the VI Summit of the Organization of Turkic States held in Cholpon-Ata, Kyrgyzstan, in 2018. The selection criteria focus on individuals' contributions to global civilization and their roles in unifying the Turkic world. The project encompasses legendary figures such as Oghuz Khagan and Manas, cultural icons like Al-Farabi and Rumi, and modern statesmen including Ismail Gaspirali and Mustafa Kemal Atatürk. This scholarly work is intended to serve as an educational resource for students and researchers, fostering a deeper understanding of the shared heritage and promoting unity among Turkic nations.
