Annotation: The project "Philosophical and Political Thoughts of the Turkic Peoples (19th – Early 20th Century)" aims to conduct a comprehensive and current study of the identity searches of the Turkic peoples during the 19th and early 20th centuries. This includes discussions, significant articles and works on Turkic identity from that period. Many of these works remain unpublished collectively, are written in Chagatai Turkic language challenging to comprehend today and have become rare bibliographic items difficult to access. Therefore, it is crucial to gather these important works, articles and discussions on the search for identity among the Turkic peoples and Turkic identity in the early 19th and 20th centuries, translate them into the Latin and Cyrillic scripts used today in Turkic states, and into languages such as Azerbaijani, Turkish, Kazakh and Kyrgyz, thereby creating a comprehensive corpus.

This initiative will provide valuable insights into the intellectual history of the Turkic peoples during a transformative period, facilitating a deeper understanding of their philosophical and political evolution.
