The President of the Turkic Academy met with the Minister of National Education of Türkiye

At the meeting, the parties exchanged their views on building up cooperation in the field of education and science in the Turkic world. Sh. Mustafayev spoke about the work done by the Academy and informed about the future plans of the organization. Also, Sh. Mustafayev invited M. Ozer to take part in the next meeting of the Scientific Council of the Turkic Academy, which is to be held this year in March, in Bishkek. In addition, the parties discussed the work done on common textbooks and the results of the Nomgon expedition. The Head of the Academy expressed gratitude for the initiative of the Ministry of Education to include “Common Turkic History”, “Common Turkic Literature” and “Geography of Turkic World” as subjects in the school curriculum. In turn, M. Özer expressed confidence that the Academy would go on making efforts to further strengthen fraternal ties through scientific cooperation, and wished the Head of the organization success in his work. At the end of the meeting, Sh. Mustafayev thanked Minister M. Özer for the warm welcome and presented him a memorable gift.
