President of the Turkic Academy expressed condolences on the death of Janos Hovari, Executive Director of the Representative Office of the Organization of Turkic States in Hungary

In this regard, the Head of the Academy sent a letter of condolences to the Secretary General of the OTS, in which he expressed deep sorrow over the untimely death of the prominent Hungarian Turkologist and diplomat J. Hovari. “As a Turkologist and an outstanding diplomat, he made a great contribution to strengthening cooperation between Hungary and the Turkic states. I had the opportunity to meet him during my visits to Hungary and other meetings. I have always witnessed what an honest, kind person he was and what a great friend he was to the Turkic world. His untimely death is an irreparable grief for us. On behalf of the Turkic Academy and on my own behalf, I express my condolences to the family of the deceased and to the entire Hungarian people," the letter says.
