The President of the Turkic Academy met with scientists of the Sh.Sh. Ualikhanov Institute of History and Ethnology

The well-known historian-orientalist, member of the National Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Doctor of Historical Sciences B. E. Kumekov also took part in the meeting. During the meeting, the Head of the Academy spoke about his intention to further strengthen cooperation with the Institute in order to study and popularize the history of the Turkic peoples. In turn, Z. Kabyldinov presented the results of the work of the Institute of History made in recent years. The Director of the Institute expressed support for the initiatives of the Turkic Academy and made relevant proposals. In addition, at the meeting, the sides exchanged views on holding a Congress on the history of Turkic statehood and organizing a School for young historians of the Turkic world.
