President of the Academy is participating in the VI World Intercultural Forum

President of the Turkic Academy Shahin Mustafayev is participating in the VI World Intercultural Forum titled “Dialogue for Peace and Global Security: Cooperation and Interaction,” held in Baku.

President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev graced the opening ceremony with his presence and conveyed his best wishes for the success of the forum's endeavors.

The international event scheduled for May 1-3 is set to host several plenary and panel sessions.

President of the Academy Shahin Mustafayev spoke at the panel session titled “Bridging Horizons: Silk Road’s Modern Dynamics and Global Impact” emphasizing the importance of revitalizing the Silk Road economic belt on a global scale. He highlighted the new opportunities it offers for countries along this historic route, focusing on development and enhanced economic cooperation.

The forum convened approximately 700 participants from over 100 countries, comprising leaders from several international organizations and delegates from ministries across different nations.

The event was organized by the Ministry of Culture of Azerbaijan with the support of international organizations, including the United Nations Alliance of Civilizations (UNAOC), UNESCO, ICESCO and the UN World Tourism Organization.
