The President of the Academy met with the Director of the National Center of Archeology of Uzbekistan

At the meeting, the parties discussed the potential of mutually beneficial ties in the field of archaeological research, tangible and intangible cultural heritage, as well as the implementation of joint research in the field of archeology. The President of the Academy noted that he intends to strengthen cooperation with the Center in order to study the archaeological monuments and cultural heritage of the Turkic peoples and called on the Center’s specialists to participate in the implementation of joint projects. In his turn, Farhad Maksudov gave information on the results of the work of the Institute of Archaeology in recent years and told about future plans. As a result of the meeting, the parties agreed to establish close partnerships between scientific organizations and signed a memorandum to deepen cooperation.
