The President of the Republic of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev declared October 29 a national day of mourning in Kazakhstan due to the death of miners caused by the tragedy at the Kostenko mine in the Karaganda region. Turkic Academy expresses condolences to the families and friends of the victims and wishes soon recovery to the injured.
