In her turn, the President of the the Turkic Culture and Heritage Foundation Efendiyeva noted that the epic “Manas” is a factor that unites the Turkic world, and today’s event is confirmation of this. “We, the Turkic Culture and Heritage Foundation, strive to unite all fraternal peoples. Another book dedicated to our Foundation’s study of the Manas epic has already been published in Kyrgyz and Azerbaijani. At the same time, the solemn “Manas Day” was held at the headquarters of our organization with the participation of representatives of the Kyrgyz Republic,” Efendieva said in her speech. First Deputy Minister of Culture, Information, Sports and Youth Policy of the Kyrgyz Republic Kairat Imanaliev, in his speech, expressed gratitude to the heads of organizations for popularizing the heritage of Manas, and emphasized the importance of such undertakings for strengthening fraternal ties among the Turkic countries. Also, as part of the event, the President of the Turkic Academy Mustafayev and the President of the Turkic Culture and Heritage Foundation Efendieva were awarded with medallions of the Kyrgyz National Theater “Manas” for contribution to popularize Manas epic.
