The Turkic Academy and KazNU signed a Memorandum of Cooperation

The parties discussed the possibilities of scientific cooperation between the two organizations, as well as the implementation of joint projects. During the meeting, a Memorandum of Cooperation in the field of Turkology was signed between the Academy and the University. The Memorandum allows both sides to organize joint scientific events, exchange experience, important information and publications, and conduct joint seminars and trainings. During his visit, the President of the Academy got acquainted with the work of the educational and scientific departments of the University, including the Research Institute of Turkology and Altaic Studies. Rector Tuimebayev, who introduced in detail the work of the Research Institute of Turkology and Altaic Studies, noted that this work is aimed at studying the Turkic languages, interpreting the original texts of written monuments, as well as demonstrating continuity in the history of the Turkic languages. In his turn, Shahin Mustafayev expressed gratitude for the warm welcome, and underlined that joint projects of the Turkic Academy and the University in the future will contribute to new achievements in the field of Turkology and Altaic studies.
