The Turkic Academy took part in the international book fair "Eurasian Book Fair - 2023"

More than 70 publishing houses and organizations from Kazakhstan, Russia, China, Iran, Turkey and other countries took part in the largest book exhibition in Eurasia, organized this year for the sixth time. The exhibition presented novelties of the book market and the best works of the world literature. Minister of Culture and Sports of the Republic of Kazakhstan Askhat Oralov, who took part in the opening ceremony of the exposition, said that this event was a good opportunity for entrepreneurs in the country's book business to find new partners and gather a new audience for the authors. The event included meetings with famous bloggers, presentations of world bestsellers and children's books, free workshops for children and quizzes. At the book fair "Eurasian Book Fair - 2023", the Turkic Academy presented its scientific and educational works. On the last day of the event, the Executive Directorate of the VI Eurasian International Book Fair announced the “Best Book of the Year” contest, evaluated new books published by the exhibition participants in 2023, and determined the winners in nominations. In the competition "The Best Book of the Year" of the VI Eurasian International Book Fair, the work "Sagymbay’s Manas ", prepared jointly by the Turkic Academy and the International Fund for Turkic Culture and Heritage in the nomination "Culture and Art", took 3rd place. The book exhibition "Eurasian Book Fair" ended on April 23 – World Book and Copyright Day.
