On August 28, 2023, the President of the Turkic Academy Shahin Mustafayev, during his working visit to the Republic of Türkiye, met with the Chairman of the Turkish Linguistic Society Osman Mert. President of the National Academy of Sciences of Azerbaijan Isa Habbibeyli also took part in the meeting.
At the meeting, the parties exchanged their views on the issues of bilateral cooperation between the three organizations and discussed joint projects. In particular, Sh. Mustafayev spoke about the ongoing work on the issues of the alphabet and terminology in the Turkic World and shared his thoughts on important areas in the field of linguistics.
